Radius Integration - Messages Page

Overview

Text message information can be sent from Cadence to Radius in the form of Cases or Case Messages. This information is stored on the contact record in Radius.

Text Messages as Case Messages

If you store text messages as a single Case with multiple Case Messages, you can configure what values Cadence sends to Radius. Each individual text message becomes a separate Case Message under the Case. Note that if Cases in your Radius instance have certain required fields, those fields must also be set up in Cadence so Radius will accept the Cases we create without issue.

Text Messages as Cases

If you store each text message as its own Case, you can still configure what information Cadence provides when the message is sent to Radius. Note that if Case Messages in your Radius instance have certain required fields, those fields must also be set up in Cadence so Radius will accept the Case Messages we create without issue.

Delivery Errors

We recommend creating a check box field on the contact record in Radius called "SMS Invalid Mobile." Cadence is able to update that field anytime a delivery error occurs.

Note: If there are issues adding text message information to a specific contact's record in Radius, an error will be logged in the Cadence - Radius Integration on the Logs page.
