Configuring Exports

Exports is where you'll configure text message and opt out status change exports to Raiser's Edge NXT. 

Click on the  Exports tab and then Configure Exports (you can also use Export Settings)

When configuring Exports, you can enable automatic exports to Raiser's Edge NXT for message activity and/or opt out changes. Exports will occur in real time.

Note: Imports must be configured before Exports. A notification will prompt you to complete configuring Imports if Exports are attempted first.

Export Message Activity

Use the toggle to enable the export for Message Activity. Message activity can be sent as "Actions" and/or "Notes" within Raiser's Edge NXT. 

• Export to Actions
  • Select an Action Category and Action Type.
  • Message Fields (Optional): Cadence provides Campaigns as a way to track information on messages with constituents. Message fields allow you to send Campaign information over on message activity to be stored on the Action. Export to Notes

• • Note Type: Select the type of Note that you'd like message activity to be shown as in NXT.

Opt-Out Status Changes

If Opt-Out status changes is enabled, Cadence will update Raiser's Edge NXT with any changes in opt out status that occur in real-time. Cadence will update the selected "Consent Channel Category" based on the field mapping for opt out preference on imports. 

Note: If no field is selected or you'd like to update the selected field, navigate to the "Import" tab>Import Settings and map a field to the Cadence Opted Out field.

Once complete, click  [Save]

Export Error Logs

The Exports tab provides a designated Error Log tracking area should Cadence encounter any issues when exporting message activity back to Raiser's Edge NXT.
