OptedOut Import Field

Contact records can be imported into Cadence with a specific opt out status in the OptedOut field. Accepted values for this field include:

  •  "yes", "true", "y", "1" to opt a contact out of texting
  •  "no", "false", "n", "0" to opt a contact in to texting

If the OptedOut field is not included when a contact record is imported for the first time, Cadence will automatically opt that contact in. If a contact is imported into Cadence without a value in the OptedOut field, Cadence will retain what has already been imported in the field for that contact record.

Note: Each contact's opt out status is stored in Cadence on a team-by-team basis.
