Student Identifier/Mobile Number Update

Message Types

Admin Users are now able to specify Message Types to better categorize texting activity. The Message Type is displayed in manually-generated Message Activity Exports or information returned via API.

Notifications

Admin Users can now configure institution-wide notifications when specific events occur within Cadence including:

• Opt-Out preference changes
• Text message received from unknown phone number
• New student record manually added by staff member

Navigation Panel Update

• Templates and Notifications have been moved under Organization.
• Integration has been re-named to Data Management. Message Types and Identifier Update are new tabs.
• Reporting is a new section and includes Usage (moved from Organization) and Exports (moved from Integration).
• API is now its own section.

Upcoming Release (late February)

Data Fields

The student import process has been streamlined through the ability to specify data fields. Admin Users can configure the custom fields that can be included in imports, as well as whether or not each field is required and visible to staff in the department.

Student Search Update

The Students > Search page now allows you to search by fields stored on the student record. You are also able to message students directly from the Search page.
