Cadence supports up to 25 custom fields that can be imported with Contacts. Before you set up the  Contact Import, it is recommended that you create the additional custom fields that will be mapped during that step.

Start by clicking on the Fields page after authentication is setup.

The standard set of Cadence fields will be available and preset with the Required, Mergeable, and Visible to Users (can be seen in Cadence on the record by all users in the department/team). These cannot be changed or removed. You may elect to add an additional field by clicking [Add Field] and specifying the options.

If Required is checked, any record that does not have that field will fail to import.

  • If Mergeable is checked, the field can be used as a merge field in text messages.
  • If Visible to Users is checked, all users in the department/team can see the value when viewing records in Cadence.

You may add up to 25 custom fields (not counting the Cadence required and optional fields). Once the fields have been set up, you may change any of the checkboxes at any time.
